Chris Petersen Resigns as Head Coach at Washington

Chris Petersen has announced he will step down as the Head Football coach at the University of Washington, following the Huskies' bowl game. The school's Director of Athletics, Jennifer Cohen, says Defensive Cordinator Jimmy Lake will be the next head coach of the team. 

Petersen steps down with a 146-38 career record during his time at Boise State and UW. During the six seasons with Washington, the Huskies won two Pac-12 Championships, and made an appereance in the 2016 College Football Playoffs. More info to come as the story develops.
