Trail Blazers Signed Mario Hezonja

Two years, veteran's minimum

The Trail Blazers are adding experience to their young roster in the form of small forward, Mario Hezonja.

Portland signed the former Knick to a two-year, veteran's minimum deal. Adrian Wojnarowski reports the second year is a player option. This provide some depth as Al-Farouq Aminu leaves for Orlando. ESPN also reported back in July 2018 that Rip City showed interest in Hezonja before he signed with the Knicks.

The Blazers are now $29.9 million over the salary cap. Filling out the remaining roster will require a great accounting skill set on their part.
