Cam Cleeland created quite the tease after mentioning Albert Bell’s $10 million contract with the Chicago White Sox, almost a $1 million more than the team’s pay roll. This sparked the idea sports may not be pandemic proof. Salary cuts, revenue drops and athletic directors predicting no fall sports. We could be on the horizon of a sports financial bubble. If it bursts, many universities and jobs will be affected.
